“After volunteering in clinics in India, I realized how deficient education is the most prevalent roadblock to improving infant and mother mortality rates. I became involved with Save a Mother since I strongly believe in their desire to train women in maternal health and child care and wanted to get involved in any way possible to aid in their goals. I believe Save A Mother is unique in that their solution is both simple and sustainable making it quite effective.”
