“I want to use my privilege, passion and knowledge to improve this world by empowering and helping those who are oppressed, those who are ignored, or do not have the same opportunities. I want to work in an environment that sees and treats everyone as equals, an environment that does not judge unfairly, and has a community that strives to do ‘good’ in this world. I want to work with people who truly believe that individuals can make a difference in the world and live their lives proving this theory correct. My goal is to work to develop a world where people are seen individually and systemically as equals regardless of their age, race, gender, sexual identity, socioeconomic status, sex, physical abilities, culture, etc. I strive to live in a world and continue to work with organizations like Save A Mother that focus on women’s rights on a global scale.“
I recently graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a minor in women’s studies. I hope to pursue a career that combines women and human rights along with my communications background. Bringing awareness to issues of the world and sharing the contributions that the Save A Mother organization work for are one in the same with my personal and professional aspirations.
