Bianca Jeanty

Bianca Jeanty “Women have been blessed with the unique feature in bringing a child into this world. I believe that Save A Mother is one organization that truly recognizes that and looks to saving the life of both the mother and the infant. As a health major at my institution, I look to share my knowledge on reproductive health issues and expansion of programs to young adults nationwide. Currently, I feel I am at a powerful stage in my life where I am learning how our actions combined can create something so beautiful. I am beyond grateful to be a part of this team and I am looking to increase my knowledge on how to impact the world..”

Bianca Jeanty is a 4th year undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University (University Park) majoring in Biobehavioral Health. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree of Science and intends to graduate December of 2012. Post undergraduate, she plans attend graduate school in earning her Master’s in Public Health to study extensively about prevention of women’s health issues.

Shazia Rahman “As someone deeply invested in women’s issues, being able to work with Save a Mother is a very rewarding experience. I’m proud to be a social media marketing intern because I can help invoke change by improving the awareness, health and livelihood of women and children of impoverished nations who lack the right to be heard.“
I have recently completed my junior year at Stony Brook University and am pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree for Business management with a specialty in marketing and a Bachelor of Arts degree for Women’s and Gender studies. In the future, I aspire to be a marketing manager for a human rights advocacy group which empowers underprivileged women.
