“Within a family full of doctors, it is easy for me to forget that not everyone has easily accessible healthcare provided to them, and not every woman has an easy childbirth experience. I think that the mission of Save A Mother is an admirable one; providing education and training is an easy and effective way to raise the standard of healthcare in less affluent places. It is extremely gratifying to be involved in the work they do.”Zahra Kagalwalla is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Global Studies with a concentration in Middle Eastern politics and culture. After college she hopes to pursue a career in non-profit work.
