In 2010, Vanessa earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Policy & Management from Texas A&M Health Science Center, College Station. Prior to graduation, she traveled to Puducherry, India and worked with a small non-governmental organization (NGO) to assist in creating/presenting health awareness campaigns on cancer risk reduction, diabetes recognition & prevention and maternal & child nutritional health. Vanessa currently works at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a grant program manager. She hopes to help Save-A-Mother with building public awareness & education, subject research, web content and partnership-building.
