“While taking a course on reproduction across the world, I learned the hardships and difficulties many women in other nations face during childbirth. I have since become dedicated to improving maternal health in third world nations and educating individuals about safe childbirth practices. Save a Mother is proactive about this issue and works directly with mothers on site to decrease maternal mortality. For this, I am proud and excited to be a part of the Save a Mother team.”Eva Steinhorn (MD) will be graduating in August from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies. Upon graduation, Eva plans to pursue a career in marketing for a women’s health nonprofit organization.
