Be prepared for an exclusive evening of captivating and alluring fashion as world-renowned designers bring their latest creations for the inaugural Chicago Global Runway. The mission of Chicago Global Runway is to create an exclusive South Asian fashion experience by providing a canvas for emerging designers to showcase their work in an environment of collaboration and philanthropy. The show creates a platform, where international and local designers can display their work to Chicago fashion lovers. The event aims to not only promote fashion and design, but also promote South Asian culture and causes. The fashion show event will take place on June 24th, 2011 at the magnifcent Preston Bradley Hall at the Chicago Cultural Center. The pop-up shop event will take place on June 25th, 2011 at Hotel Allegro. Chicago Global Runway has partnered with Save A Mother, and a portion of the proceeds from the show will be donated to Save A Mother.
